English Language Proficiency

Before enrolling in a Robin College Continuing Education course or applying for a program, applicants whose first language is not English must prove their English proficiency through one of the following methods:
High school Canadian English grades
- A minimum score of 65% on the Alberta English Language Arts 30-1 diploma examination (excluding the blended grade), OR
- A blended mark of 65% or higher in Alberta English Language Arts 30-1, OR
- A score of 65% or higher in Alberta English Language Arts 30-2, OR
- An equivalent high school-level course from another Canadian province.
Completion of formal studies at an English speaking institution
Completion of full-time formal study (at least three courses per semester) at an accredited English-language secondary or post-secondary institution recognized by the Council of International Schools.
